Questions
Asked & answered.
Is the design consultation really complimentary?
Yes, for remodeling projects in Central New Jersey, with no strings attached. Maciej and Pawel measure and photograph your space in person, and we prepare 2–3 renderings with different finishes so you can compare them side by side. There is no obligation. See the counties and towns we serve.
How are the renderings made?
From photos of your own room. We photograph the space during the consultation, then use AI to show it finished in 2–3 different directions. They are concept images to help you choose; exact materials, dimensions and details are set in the written proposal.
Who actually does the work on my project?
Maciej and Pawel lead every project personally and are on site throughout. Maciej leads the craft and Pawel keeps the project organised, scheduled and communicated. You are not hiring a salesperson who hands your home to someone you have never met.
Are you registered and insured in New Jersey?
Yes. Pregowski Home Remodeling, LLC is a registered New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor, registration #13VH03931000. We are fully insured, and a copy of our certificate of insurance comes with every contract.
Who handles permits and drawings?
We coordinate the permit process with your town’s construction office. When a permit needs sealed drawings, they come from an independent NJ-licensed architect or engineer. Your contract states which permit fees are included.
Who manages my budget and schedule?
Pawel. Before joining his father, he was Chief Estimator and Northeast Regional Supervisor for an infrastructure contractor, running more than ten projects at once across several states. You get a line-item estimate, a written schedule, and one person accountable for both.
Where do you work?
We are based in Bridgewater and work across Central New Jersey: Somerset, Hunterdon, Morris, Middlesex, Mercer and Monmouth counties. Close to home that means Basking Ridge, Bernardsville, Warren, Hillsborough and Manville; further out, towns such as Princeton, Holmdel and Metuchen.
What kinds of projects do you take on?
Kitchens, bathrooms, tile, flooring, basements and custom millwork — projects where the quality of the craftsmanship is the point. Maciej and Pawel do the work themselves, so we keep to projects the two of us can build to our standard.
